OUR STORY

OUR STORY

The “Stu” is from Studebaker, the “ward” is from James Howard Packard. Together, "Stuward" honors the grind and hard working spirit behind the American automobile industry.

The automotive future of America, came into place in 1954 when Packard Automotive and the Studebaker Corporation merged. This legendary partnership ended in 1976 with another merger, but the legacy of that thirteen year stretch still reverberates today. Studebaker-Packard represented a strengthening of the American automotive vision that was decades in the making.

That drive, that surging commitment to progress and ingenuity, to making the future real and now, comes through in every aspect of The Stuward. This place has been repurposed to give dreamers a place to fulfill their own purpose. In America, we’re all drivers.

We all drive and we are all driven by this same spirit.
